At Calvary, we have numerous small groups that are designed for prayer, biblical teachings, and discipleship. We offer a variety of opportunities to get connected, through our Sunday morning Bible studies, Sunday evening discipleship groups, our Calvary Seniors monthly fellowships, and more!
Deeper Discipleship
We invite everyone at Calvary, our sister churches in the Taylor Baptist Association & across the community to join us as we dive deeper into Christian discipleship for a time of informal reading and discussion. Deeper Discipleship meets on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month in the Calvary Worship Center Sanctuary. Prayer Meeting
We invite everyone at Calvary, our sister churches in the Taylor Baptist Association & across the community to join us for a time of extended, uplifting prayer for our community. STEPS Recovery & discipleship
Steps is a gospel-centered recovery resource that takes people to the root of sin and suffering and leads them to embrace the freedom found only in Christ's redemption. Based on a successful program at The Village Church and featuring teaching videos from Pastor Matt Chandler, this 13-session discipleship tool is essential for Christian counselors, support groups, and recovery ministries. STEPS meets every Sunday at Calvary, in Portable P-1. For more information on our STEPS program, please call the church office.
Youth study group
During the summer months, the Bishop family hosts two youth Bible studies weekly - Middle School group and High School & College Aged Students group. For more information on this study group, please email Eli Dorman or Austin Bishop, or call the church office.
